A variety of menus are available upon request. Menus can be served buffet style or served. Please add $2.00 per person if you choose your meal to be served.
20% is added to all food and beverages.
6% CT state sales tax will be affixed to food and liquor. If you are tax exempt, please forward your number well in advance to keep billing arrangements simplified.
Bar Fees
Full open bar is estimated at $22.50 per person. Open bar for beer and wine only is estimated at $18.00 per person A cash bar is also an option if you wish to keep your costs down. The true cost will not be known till the conclusion of the reception. The charge is based on consumption.
We will be pleased to assist you in arranging for flowers and centerpieces, musicians or any entertainment to compliment your special occasion. Any and all decorations are subject to approval. Nothing can be tacked, pinned, taped, etc. to walls, ceilings, floors, doors or windows without prior permission from the management of The Mansion.
Please arrange with your musicians and bands well in advance regarding arrival time, space allotments, special electrical connections, ending time and any other special needs. We will do our best to accommodate.
Linen tablecloths and napkins are estimated at $2.00 per person. A color chart for napkin colors is available.
The Mansion’s baker can create beautiful cakes that will truly enhance your special occasion. Cake pricing is available upon request. If you choose to bring in a cake from an outside bakery, a service fee of $2.00 per person will be added for cutting, plating and garnishing. Other dessert options are available and requests are welcome.
Guaranteed counts for functions for the number of persons attending will be required 15 business days prior to the function date. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to provide this guarantee; otherwise, the tentative expected attendants would be the guarantee. All charges will be based upon the guarantee or the actual number of guests served, whichever is greater. No reduction in the final guarantee will be allowed within 72 hours of the date of the function. Food from buffets cannot be taken home as The Mansion does prepare extra so that you have a bountiful amount during the function.
A $250.00 deposit is required to hold a date for an event. Preferred method of payment is cash or check. A 2% processing fee is applied if using a credit card.
Cancellation of major events (i.e. weddings, proms, class reunions, etc.) made six months prior to the event will result in the return of deposit less any expenditures directly incurred for your event. If cancellation is made less than six months prior to the date of the function, your deposit will not be refunded unless we can rebook the date with a similar event. For other functions, a thirty day notice of cancellation will result in the return of your deposit.
